High School FFA/AgEd Institutional & Junior Memberships

These memberships will allow high school students currently enrolled in the Veterinary Science curriculum of participating Institutional Members to participate in the GVTAA as "Junior Members". The goal is to advance the various professions within Veterinary Medicine. Ultimately, the school will hold the institutional membership, which will provide them with basic training modules for their students. The students will be entitled to attend our Annual Spring Conference (starting in 2009) in order to test on the knowledge of basic restraint, breed identification, hospital maintenance, and possibly other topics. The hopes are to formulate the modules in such a way as to allow these students to get the basic understanding of these concepts and to spark an interest in them to enter into the veterinary medical support professions. There are other requirements currently being considered. Once a student  has completed the modules, achieved the minimum percentage on the test, and met the remaining requirements, these students will be awarded with a "Junior Membership".
